2019 Mazda CX 3

Are you in the market for a sporty, attractive subcompact SUV? Take the new Mazda CX-3 for a spin. It’s one mini-crossover that’s a must on your short list. The CX-3 offers driving enthusiasts agile handling in a pretty package. With the added benefits of excellent fuel economy, it’s the ideal daily driver. Let’s get to know the 2019 Mazda CX-3.

Fresh, New Exterior Styling

For the 2019 model year, Mazda gave a light refresh to the CX-3’s eye-catching exterior styling. An expression of Mazda’s trademark KODO design, the CX-3 is both simple and elegant. Subtle but striking changes include the understated grille and beautiful new chrome accents.

Available Trim Levels

Mazda offers the 2019 CX-3 in three trim levels: Sport, Touring, and Grand Touring. With this agile and responsive subcompact crossover, you can add available all-wheel drive to any trim. The base CX-3 Sport offers a generous list of standard features, along with 16-inch alloy wheels and the i-Activsense package of advanced safety features.

Move up to the Touring trim and opt for the Preferred Equipment package that outfits your CX-3 with a moonroof, satellite and HD radio, and a seven-speaker Bose sound system. Head to the top trim, the Grand Touring, and enjoy all the benefits of the Premium package that boasts a power-adjustable driver’s seat, a heated steering wheel, and traffic sign recognition.

Interior Design

Made from quality materials, the CX-3’s cabin is beautiful, with real leather-upholstered seats gracing the top trim’s interior. Even the base Sport trim’s cockpit feels luxurious when compared to most rivals. The luggage compartment features 12.4 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats, or fold them down and reveal 44.5 cubic feet of room.

Engine Performance

For the upcoming model year, the CX-3 gets a bump in horsepower, while still maintaining thrifty fuel economy. It comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 148 horsepower and pairs well with the six-speed automatic transmission.

The CX-3’s four-cylinder accelerates quickly, even from a complete stop, and delivers plenty of power for passing on the highway. It’s also one of the most fuel-efficient engines in its class, earning an outstanding 29 mpg city and 34 highway.

Driver-Assistance Systems

Shoppers who want a suite of driver-assistance technologies are no longer limited to the Grand Touring trim. For 2019, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert are now standard equipment. Thanks to this advanced technology, the new CX-3 earned an overall five-star rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Advanced Technology Features

Each CX-3 trim level is equipped with the user-friendly Mazda Connect infotainment system. It includes a convenient 7-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, and internet streaming services. You’ll appreciate the screen’s high dash-mount position that makes it easy to see, as well as a console-mounted control knob.

This little SUV delivers a long list of big features and offers one of the most dynamic driving experiences for its competitive price. Take a look at the new CX-3. It’s a thing of beauty.
