Tree sap can be very tough to remove because simple soapy solutions will not do the trick.  If you ever find yourself in this kind of sticky situation, there are some tips to get rid of the sap quickly. more 1. Get to Work Immediately Before discussing specific methods and mixtures needed to fix the problem, it is important to mention that action needs to be taken right away. When tree sap is left untouched, it will become black and a lot more challenging to remove. The strength of the bond between the sap and the car intensifies over time. It is important to act as soon as possible to remove it from the painted surface. 2. Nail Polish Remover Acetone is commonly used to dissolve nail polish but is also effective at removing tree sap. Take a cotton ball and pour some of the nail polish remover on it. Next, wipe the spots covered in sap with the soaked cotton ball. The sap will then wipe away easily. Since nail polish is made to dissolve paint, it is a good idea to clean off any leftover remover with a baking soda and water paste. Make sure you have several clean microfiber cloths when you wash your car so you can continuously use a clean one. After you use them, wash the towels separately using a mild detergent. It is also important to use an automotive soap. Don't use dish soap. It is a degreaser and it will strip the wax from the paint. Automotive soaps have more lubricant, and they create a foam that will help keep the dirt from scratching the car. 2. Waxing Waxing your vehicle on a regular basis is just as important as washing it. Even a new car needs waxing since most automakers don't wax them. If you live in an area where it is warm year-round or you can keep it covered you can wax twice a year. If you drive in conditions where it gets snowy, and the roads get treated with sand and salt, you should wax it three or four times throughout the year, especially in the winter. 3. Keep The Food And Drinks Out One of the easiest ways to ruin the inside of your car is by spilling food or drinks. If you do spill something, you want to make sure to clean it up as soon as you can. For wet spills, use a paper towel to blot it dry, so it doesn't sink into the upholstery or carpet. After you blot, spray it with a foaming carpet cleaner and blot again with a microfiber cloth. If the stain has a chance to dry, use the foaming carpet cleaner and then start the blotting. 4. Think About Parking If you can, always park under some kind of cover. This will keep the things that fall from the sky from hitting your car. Whether its bird droppings, sap from a tree, or other debris that is floating in the air, you don't want it landing on your paint. Parking undercover will also keep the sun from damaging the paint. Avoid parking on the street when possible. This lowers the chances of it getting hit whether it's by another vehicle or even a kid on a bike. The Mazda MX-5 is fun to drive. It is no surprise that it is one of the best selling sports cars around the world, and for 2019, it is even better. Available as a coupe or as a roadster, the 2019 MX-5 has more power than the previous model, and it now comes standard with a tilt steering wheel, and the option for a brown soft-top. These are some of the most impressive features of the 2019 MX-5 Miata. more 1. The Engine All three of the MX-5 models get the same 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. This now produces 181 horsepower and gets 151 pound-feet of torque, and it sends power to the rear wheels. The standard transmission is a fun six-speed manual, or you can opt for the six-speed automatic. The automatic adds to the fun with paddle shifters mounted to the steering wheel. 2. The Safety Features The MX-5 comes well-equipped with safety features. The i-Activesense package is an available option for the Sport and Club trims, and this comes standard with the Grand Touring. The package adds low-speed forward collision warning, lane departure warning, and an automatic braking system to all trims. The Sport also gets blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, and the Grand Touring has even more standard safety features including adaptive headlights and automatic high beams. Mazda added its Smart City Brake Support system as an option for the 2019 model year. You can also get a traffic sign recognition system that shows the speed limits and warnings right on the driver information screen. 3. The GT-S Package The new GT-S package is an available option for Grand Touring Miatas with the six-speed manual. It adds Bilstein shocks, a shock tower brace, and a limited-slip differential. It also adds a sport-tuned suspension. All of these features were only available for the Club trim until the updates for 2019. This package gets the performance of the sporty Miata with all the extras that come with the Grand Touring. 4. The Technology All the MX-5 models come with a 7-inch touch screen display, Bluetooth, two USB ports, and voice controls. A six-speaker stereo system with HD radio comes standard in the Sport, and the Club adds a nine-speaker Bose stereo system, along with satellite radio. All models have steering wheel-mounted controls for the stereo and cruise control, so you can keep your hands on the wheel. 5. The Brembo/BBS Package The Club model can get even sportier with the Brembo/BBS Package. Available with the manual transmission, this package adds 17-inch forged BBS wheels, an aerodynamic body kit, upgraded Brembo brakes up front, and red-painted Brembo brake calipers on all four wheels. Inside, it adds heated leather seats. Recaro sports seats are an available option with this package for the RF model, and you can also get a black-painted roof. Espresso To Go Go Espresso to Go Go is a small shop with a bright atmosphere and fantastic coffee. The fun decor includes a giant mirrored disco ball and a life-size winged unicorn. If you are in the know, you can request the secret menu and order something other than the usual. The Sid Vicious Seven Shots is one of the drinks on the secret menu and comes with seven shots of espresso and six sugars. If you aren't up for that much caffeine, the Vietnamericano is a good choice and has sweetened condensed milk and espresso. 2. Reverie Coffee Roasters Reverie Coffee Roasters has friendly baristas, a relaxed environment,  good coffee drinks, and even a bar. Make sure to try the caramel latte or a pour-over Ethiopian. If you don't drink milk, you can get cashew milk instead, and there are both hot and iced drinks. If you get hungry while drinking your coffee, there are breakfast sandwiches, sweet treats, muffins, scones, and more. You can also choose from a variety of teas. Seating is both inside and out with a nice area outside where you can people watch. 3. R Coffee House Try R Coffee House for a fun and funky atmosphere, good food, and excellent coffee drinks. This is the place to go if you want to sit back and sip on some coffee while you listen to live music. Make sure to try the Mayan which comes with cayenne pepper to make it a little spicy, or get the Ying Yang or the Funky Monkey. The coffee drinks are always delicious no matter what you get, and the food is also on point. The coffee has a good amount of flavor, and the espresso is always nice and strong. 4. Milkfloat Milkfloat on Douglas Ave in Wichita has great coffee and much more. The Onyx Columbian pour-over is always a great choice.  It has great flavor without any bitterness. In addition to the coffee, the pastries and treats at Milkfloat are worth the trip. The home-made biscuits are crumbly and made fresh every day, and if you get the sausage biscuits and gravy, you are in for a treat. The Thin Mint pie is also a great choice to go with your coffee, but you have to go in during Girl Scout cookie season to get it. These are some of the best coffee shops in the Wichita area.
